To celebrate its 50 years of existence, the Instituto del Fondo Nacional de la Vivienda para los Trabajadores (Infonavit) launched a new modality to acquire land with your credit from the institution.
Its name is "Crediterreno" and with it you can apply for a loan of up to $1,900,000 pesos to buy a piece of land and then build on it.
What are the requirements to access Crediterreno?
- Be under 65 years of age.
- Reach 980 points in Infonavit.
- To have contributed 6 months in the last job.
Now, for workers living in the center and southeast of the country, Infonavit will be able to grant a bonus of 134 or 109 points for Crediterreno, as these are areas with high demand.
Can I acquire any type of land?
Infonavit provides some guidelines on the types of land that its beneficiaries can purchase with Crediterreno:
- It must have services such as water, electricity and drainage.
- Land use must be residential or mixed.
- It must be located within an urban development plan of the chosen municipality.
