After the dominance of the Monterrey teams, there are changes for the Clausura 2022. See who has the highest payroll in Liga MX.

It's finally Friday! It's time to take a well-deserved Coffee Break. And this time, with the start of the Apertura 2022 Liga MX tournament, we can't help but wonder which team has the highest payroll?

At the end of last year's tournament (Clausura 2022), Monterrey and Tigres led the table, as in first place, "Rayados" reflected 81.1 million dollars in payroll; while the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León team reflected 78.6 million dollars in payroll. They are in second place.

Also at the end of the Clausura 2022, América took third place in terms of the value of its payroll, revealing a value of US$73.9 million.

And what about the payrolls for the current tournament?

However, the roles have changed for the current tournament, as with the incorporation of players Jonathan Rodríguez, Néstor Araújo and Jürgen Damm, "Las Águilas " reached a monetary value of US$78.3 million in payroll, and are now in first place.

Fifth place belongs to Santos Laguna with a payroll of US$61 million, followed by Cruz Azul with US$59.5 million.

And if you were wondering who has the lowest payroll value, the bottom spots belong to Gallos de Querétaro with US$23.8 million and Mazatlán with US$20.9 million.
