In the world of work, the role of the employer and the employee becomes a relationship between the two, and unfortunately many of them end in labor conflicts.
For this reason, the authorities created the Labor Conciliation Center in October 2022, since they considered that the cases handled by the Conciliation and Arbitration Boards were not efficient and took a long time to be resolved.
By law, the Labor Conciliation Center allows labor disputes to be resolved in approximately 45 days.
But in the CDMX they are resolved in an average of 26 days.
In addition, the latest report indicates that approximately 75% of the labor disputes that have arisen have been resolved.
The Secretary of Labor and Employment Promotion, José Luis Rodríguez Díaz de León, said that up to the first days of July 2023, 43,359 labor conciliation requests have been initiated, of which 32,000 have been resolved.
It is important to emphasize that these 32 thousand cases have been resolved in favor of the workers.
What is the Work-Life Balance Center?
It is an organization that offers free public services for work conciliation.
Its objective is to resolve conflicts between workers and employers, under the principles of:
- Legality
- Equity
- Transparency
Promises the following:
"To avoid unnecessary labor lawsuits, and to establish a model of labor authority that facilitates, favors and achieves conciliation, giving priority at all times to the principles of security and legal certainty for the parties involved in the conflict."
